Continuous Improvement Plan
This year, the staff strives to continuously improve the standardized test related skills and knowledge of all the cadets in the Mustang Battalion. Utilizing peer-to-peer tutoring and student-instructor led courses, the goal is to increase scores significantly. Cadets will take an initial diagnostic test with a layout similar to that of the ACT around the first week of October. Once a week, activities will be conducted geared towards boosting academic performance and stimulating critical thinking that is required for college aptitude tests like the ACT and the SAT. To document the progressions made, a midterm assessment will be held in January, and the final assessment will take place in April to obtain a full timeline of the progress of the battalion.
Service Learning Plan
As a battalion, we plan to assist Wreaths Across America, a non-profit organization, and older Veterans by helping to place wreaths on deceased veterans' tombstones. We aim to pay honor and tribute to veterans who have given their lives fighting for the freedoms we enjoy everyday at their expense. The Mustang Battalion is conducting its Service Learning plan on Friday, December 8th, 2017 and has a goal of getting 100 cadets in the Mustang Battalion to participate.
